  • The Criminal Justice Support Services Co-ordinator (CJSS) offers help, advice and support to victims who have experienced domestic violence. The CJSS can support victims through the Criminal Justice System and/or explore the legal options available to them. The CJSS provides the following services to victims:-
  • One off or ongoing support through to Courts process
  • Attendance at Court or Solicitors
  • Tracking of cases and information about Court hearing, bail conditions and what stage the case is at
  • Liaison with the Crown Prosecution Service and the Courts
  • Liaison with other agencies and support services
  • Information about injunctions, residence orders and occupation orders
  • Information about contact orders, parental responsibility and court welfare services
  • Access to Victim Support, The Haven and support services for Asian women
  • Access to interpreting services
