- The Criminal Justice Support Services Co-ordinator (CJSS) offers help, advice and support to victims who have experienced domestic violence. The CJSS can support victims through the Criminal Justice System and/or explore the legal options available to them. The CJSS provides the following services to victims:-
- One off or ongoing support through to Courts process
- Attendance at Court or Solicitors
- Tracking of cases and information about Court hearing, bail conditions and what stage the case is at
- Liaison with the Crown Prosecution Service and the Courts
- Liaison with other agencies and support services
- Information about injunctions, residence orders and occupation orders
- Information about contact orders, parental responsibility and court welfare services
- Access to Victim Support, The Haven and support services for Asian women
- Access to interpreting services
